Slacker-Shelly Answers Two More Tag Questions, The Fly, and Why She’s Not Around Today

Slacker-Shelly was really hoping these other tag questions would disappear. But since Slackers file nothing, they’ve been sitting on her kitchen table staring at her, and whimpering, “Answer me. Answer me.” She can totally hear it in the fly voice from the movie “The Fly.” The Vincent Price version. Oh that was the best.

Wasn’t that the bestest fly scene ever?

Let’s move on….(What happened to Robb Logger? Anyone?)

So Eve Gaal over at The Desert Rocks tagged Slacker-Shelly. I really, really love, love her. She’s the best. Go check her out.

The Rules

Since Shelly-Slacker is a Slacker, she’s not going to repeat the rules.

The Questions

A couple posts ago Shelly-Slacker wrote she’d answer three more but she’s only going to answer two. She lied. The answers will be short and to the point. She likes questions that give her only two one worded options. Slackers like her love stuff like this.

6. What’s your favorite flower? Sunflower.

7. Do you have a distaste for cookbooks? No.

Shelly-Slacker must go now. She’s visiting with Baby Ho-Ho and Baby Glowstick today. She’s also visiting with her Dad. So Shelly-Slacker will be slacking from the internet today. She won’t be around but does wish all her bloggy-buddies a great day! And maybe Tuesday, she’ll be armed with baby pictures.

Later in the ink all,

Shelly-Slacker

  2. You are hilarious Miss Shelly. What are you doing, teaching us how to conjugate the word slack? I slack, he slacks, we all slack. I'm slacking, your're slacking, we're all slacking. LOL
    Whatever....LOVE YOU BACK!

  3. I'm enjoying slacking...NOT! I've missed so many blogs, and if they're not posted at Facebook, I miss them altogether!

I can't say I've been slacking completely. I've been working on my WIP, and other WIP's...but, not so much on my blogs.

I agree with William; on all counts! And, Evie...Love all of you!!!

    1. I'm pretty much with you on the blog thing. Now my WIP...well...I'm kind of fogged from the fatigue but I know eventully it will all come to me.

Monday I'll be sending off 51 chapters to the editor-for-hire. I'm still tweaking 52 through the end.

Robb Logger??? Is Sir Wills, Robb Logger and Princess is Norma. Right?

  6. Shelly,

Sometimes we all need to slack; we do have other things in life (though sometimes it is hard to believe it because we eat, breathe and sleep writing)! Glad you enjoyed the visit. Can't wait to see baby pics (pics of babies are always so cute). Good luck on your book! Relax, rest and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

  7. I see it the exact opposite. Spending massive hours on the internet is the slacking. Going out and doing things is how life should be.

  8. Oh baby pictures. That would be wonderful to see.
I hear you, I've been doing a lot of slacking when it comes to blogging lately too. Other things become too pressing, I guess
gotta clear out those cobwebs and get back at it again.

  13. When I was a kid, I threw a bunch of sunflower seeds into the soil behind the house. The sunflowers grew tall. Perfect garden for a slacker!

    1. Lately, I've just had a hard time keeping up with all I do. Nothing seems to be getting done in a timely manner or not getting done at all.
