Sir Poops and Hairball: Being Thankful

SPAL: Good morning, nice people!

HB: Yeah. Good morning.

SPAL: We've been comtemplating a few things.

HB: Like being thankful for what God gives us everyday.

SPAL: This morning while we journeyed to make our first pees and poos, we saw this:

HB: And this:

SPAL: That little speck in the sky is a big moon. That's what Mummsy says.

HB: She also says we should count all of our blessings because God allows us to have them.

SPAL: Living in Florida is a blessing.

HB: Mummsy bought us new shirts. That's a blessing, too. They help to keep us warm.

SPAL: I'm thankful for my yummy cookies. These are my favorite.

HB: And I'm thankful for my kibble.

HB: And I'm thankful for my toys.

SPAL: I'm thankful for pillows. Especially Mummy's and Daddy-o's. They're nice and fluffy.

HB: We have lot to thank God for.

SPAL: What are all the nice people thankful for today?

Lots of licks,
Sir Poops and Hair Ball

  3. Living in Florida is definitely something worthy of epic gratitude. The picture of the bed made me want to go take a nap on that comfy looking set up.

  4. Those little shirts are adorable! Like little jammies. Living in Florida means you two don't need little parkas.

  7. Why are our pillows always so much more comfortable than the ones we spend so much time choosing for our pets?

    1. Good question. These two have claimed every pillow in the house.

  8. I find it ironic that even in Florida, doggies, your state was colder as of late than it was where they're holding the Winter Olympics.

    1. The other day, I gave them a cookie each. When my back was turned and Sir Poops was drinking water at the bowl, Hair Ball tried stealing his cookie. When I turned around, he dropped it. It was so funny.

  11. Your pups are so photogenic. I wish mine behaved like that. I've tried to get her in pics and she just looks like she's being tortured. I have been thinking of getting my Chihuahua boots to keep her feet warm and dry because of the snow but I am afraid those boots will just be entertainment for her humans. Very nice post and I am thankful for each day that I am given.

    1. Sir Poops doesn't care for the camera much. He tolerates it. But Hair Ball is a ham. He likes to see himself, too.

  15. Hey guys!

Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar and I, her alleged human, are thankful for your posting. You two rock and nothing like staring up at nature when nature calls.

    Penny's alleged human,
