HB: Yeah. Mummsy says that, too.
SPAL: She especially likes the ones at the Hyatt and the Barclay Intercontinental.
HB: Why are we talking about pillows when we have a guest, pansy boy? Getting old? Losing your memory?
SPAL: I’m moving slow these days, that’s all. Anyway here’s her loveliness now. Please, dear lady, do tell us what breed your are?
PH: I am a red Miniature Pincher aka Min Pin aka Pin Head
HB:***He walks around her , sniffing*** You’re very purdy. Smell purdy, too. Who’s your Mummsy?
PH: Mariana but she has lots of names like I do. I’ve been sworn to secrecy though. She might not give me treats any more if I tell.
HB: Treats? ***he stops sniffing and looks over her rump*** Where?
SPAL: No treats for you, stupid. ***He looks to Pin Head*** Does your Mummsy write, draw, or paint?
PH: Yep, Yep she does it all. She mostly writes though. She tells me all about it and bribes me well to keep her secrets.
SPAL: Our Mummsy does the same thing. She reads and acts out her MS.
HB: ***rolls his eyes*** Its very embarrassing. You know that’s why our two-legged parents bribe us with treats. Its really for their benefit since men in white jackets might come and take them away from us.
SPAL: It has something to do with the voices they hear. So do you like hanging out with your Mummsy while she works on her projects?
PH: I always like to be with my Mariana. I have to make sure she doesn’t work too hard. My job is to make sure she takes LOTS of breaks. You know feed me, take me outside, fake take me outside so I can steal her snacks. Things like that.
HB: Fake take you outside for treats? Why didn’t I think of that? Good idea. You’ll have to let me know about that after the interview. I don’t want my Mummsy to know about this.
SPAL: Hey, Pin Head. Where do you like to sit? On her lap? At her feet? Or on her keyboards or crayons?
PH: I like to be under a blanket under her laptop on her lap. Sometimes I like to be on her feet or next to her. Pretty much I will be where ever it is most inconvenient for her.
SPAL: I do the same thing, but without a blanket.
HB: I prefer Mummsy’s feet. They make for good lickin’. Speaking of which, what do you and your Mummsy like to nosh on? And would you be willing to share?
PH: Oh I like everything that is edible. My bones are sacred no one touches my bones. Food is to be stolen. And I guess you guys don’t know the Min Pin rules. Let me enlighten you. What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is mine. Everything is mine.
HB: Hey! Those are my rules. ***growls***
SPAL: Stop, you two. Looks like Min Pin, Pin Head’s Maranna’s has a book coming out. Lookie, lookie, everybody.

With her past distant and forgotten Natalya has built herself a nice life. She has a job she finds rewarding as a special agent with the Paranormal Investigation Bureau. Her partner, Dante, isn’t too bad for a bloodsucking vampire. Val, her boss, is like a father to her. Her favorite part is that she lives near the Cascade Mountains. Whenever she needs a little vacation, she can shift into a tiger and go running in the woods. Life is good.
