IMG_0485SPAL: Oh my, its Tuesday again. Its time for what’s your nosh Tuesday where we help the new and Indie authors promote their published works or an excerpt from the current MS.

HB: Yeah. We do this for food. ***he looks at Sir Poops*** How many times do we have to say this?

SPAL: Every Tuesday. Just in case someone new stops by.

HB: I’m bored with it.

SPAL: If you think you can come up with something better, let me know, stupid.

HB: Pansy. ***he sticks out his tongue***IMG_0036

SPAL: Stick that back into your mouth. Today, we’ve April Monroe coming by. She’s a poet.

HB: So am I. Want to hear my Haiku? Author interview/Give them some press/Gets us some treats

SPAL: That’s dumb. That’s not even a Haiku, stupid.

HB: Is too.

SPAL: Whatever. Just behave. She’s coming. ***he looks out into the blogosphere*** Everyone welcome April Monroe.

SPAL and HB jump up and down and clap their paws.

HB: She’s little like a fairy. How come she doesn’t have wings?

SPAL: Stop it, stupid. Hello, April. ***he walks toward her***

HB: ***follows behind.***

SPAL: Hi nice lady. Thank you for coming today. Please share what  you like to nosh on when writing?

AM: I like eating fruit snacks.

HB: If its watermelon, I want some. Daddy-O lets us.

SPAL: Are your fruit snacks crunchy or soft?

AM: Soft.

HB: I thought watermelon was cold and crunchy.

SPAL: Shh…So nice lady are your fruit snacks salty or sweet?

HB: You’re the stupid one. Everyone knows fruit is sweet.

AM: Sweet.

HB: See. I told you it was sweet.

SPAL: I’m trying to do an interview here.

HB: And I’m trying to get us some eats.

SPAL: ***He looks down at HB and rolls his eyes*** Nice lady does the fruit snack get your creative juices flowing?

AM: To some degree, yes.

HB: She doesn’t say much, does she?

SPAL: *** he elbows HB and smiles at April***Do you have any published books to share? What are they? Where can we find them?

AM: Yes, i have a published book, From the Heart, which can be found on Smashwords and on Amazon websites

SPAL: Wanted you all to know we’ll be revising our interview questions and will be sending them out soon. We may look like we’re not doing much but we are. We’re always hard at work especially at keeping the boogies away while Mummsy and Daddy-O are at work.

And also, Mummsy is behind in her blog reading again. She’ll be catching up tomorrow and Thursday.

Lots of licks,

Sir Poops and Hair Ball

  1. Love the doggles! One of my pups is always trying to get some eats too. Usually at the expense of the cats.

    1. Fur-peeps...we're fur-peeps. However you can refer to Hair Ball as one. He's a pain.

  2. I think April was a little reticent. Perhaps it was the idea of talking dogs and she was not familiar with that peculiar ability of exceptional canines. Loved it.

    1. I will think about this. A book of Haiku and poetry by Hair Ball.

  4. I remember well April's taste for fruit snacks from when she lived with us. We used to buy jumbo boxes at Walgreens and split them three ways.

And yes, she is tiny. Once, we had to take her to the emergency room at St. Agony's. I told her she's so tiny, they would put her in Pediatrics--and they did! They put her in a wheelchair, and I swear she could have curled up and taken a nap in the seat!
