Sir Poops and Hair Ball: Spreading the News and Cheering on the Run Away Bride Give Away, with Shelly Arkon

IMG_0146

SPAL: Usually we do What’s Your Nosh Tuesday but today we’re celebrating Mummsy’s book.

HB: Yay! Its on Amazon and everyone gets a FREE TREATS for the next three days. Right, Mummsy?

SA: That’s right. Free Ebooks to everyone.

HB: Are you going to tell everyone what a good boy I am, too?IMG_0139

SPAL: No. I’m the good boy. You’re stupid.

HB: Am not. You’re a pansy. I’m the good boy.

SPAL: Not. I am.

SA: Okay. You two. Stop it! This is a party. And I have a few more things to say.

HB: Like what?

SA: Like, I will be doing a drawing for 4 names. Two people will receive 15 dollar amazon cards and two will receive an autographed copy of Secondhand Shoes.

SPAL: What must they do to have their names put into the drawing?

SA: Down in the comment box leave some advice for the run away bride and promise to Tweet and share on Facebook. In fact, I made it easy for everyone. All they have to do is copy and paste. I’m using the good old fashioned honor system here. Rafflecoptors freeze up my computer.

SPAL: That seems really easy.

HB: Yeah. Can you tell people what your favorite nosh is? And when I can have some?

IMG_0141

SPAL: Oh brother! You’re going to bug Mummsy, too.

SA: I’ll give him a treat in a bit. But what I like to snack on the most is dark chocolate. I love the taste of bittersweet. Dove is my favorite because it has a smooth texture against my tongue-almost like a velvet blanket when it begins to melt. However, I stick with one piece a day. I don’t want to get big-butt-syndrome. So I mostly keep carrots, celery, apples, and protein bars around. When I get into writing a scene, I don’t want to have to stop to prepare some huge meal.

HB: I want some chocolate. PLEASE!

SA: No. Its not good for you.

SPAL: Mummsy, tell the nice people how we help you write.

SA: Well, Sir Poops sits to the right of me on his own chair and Hair Ball lays at my feet. They’re really good listeners when I need to read something out loud. They also help me figure out difficult scenes.

HB: Yeah. we do. We’re good boys, but I’m the better more gooder fur peep in all the world.

SPAL: ***shakes his head**** Anyway, nice people, you can find Mummsy’s book on the link below and don’t forget to Tweet, Facebook, and leave some advise for Lila in the comment boxes if you want to be put into her drawing.

  3. I don't know what a Rafflecopter is, but I'm pretty sure what I'm doing won't freeze your computer. Best of luck with Runaway Bride!

  9. Tweeted & shared from Amazon & here. The Run Away Bride should listen to her Grandmother before she marries again! I rarely have more than one piece of chocolate. If I truthful, I'll admit I like Nestle's Semi-sweet morsels better than the other chocolates. I try not to eat more than one ounce when I indulge in those. Hugs to the little ones.

  10. You are very generous. I don't tweet. And I already got a copy of your book (yay!), so don't include me in the drawing. As for advice, she should just say no to her mom. That is not advice I would give to my daughter or yours. :))

  11. I've tweeted and facebooked. You made it so easy. Thanks for the free book on Amazon UK. I look forward to reading it. I love anything with a supernatural or unexplained theme.

    1. Thank you, Francene. Hugs and chocolate. I figured this was easier than a rafflecoptor. Those things are terrible.

  13. We're trying to remember if we've got a twitter account under these names, but we're definitely tweeting under our other names, and we'll add on the links at our facebook page.

Advice for the runaway bride? If required, knee the irritating groom where it counts.
