The Monkees

Can two, three, and four year old girls fall in love and wish to be married? Why, they most certainly can, because I did. I fell in love with the Monkees. Wanted to marry Davey Jones first, Mike Nesmith second, Mickey Dolenz third, and Peter Tork fourth.

My love affair went back and forth with all four while their show ran. When they were taken off the air, it broke my little heart.

Have great day blogging, reading, and writing while I lop hair today.

    I was in love with Shaun Cassidy...and, Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver)but, before he was MacGyver, he played a doctor on General Hospital...forgotten his name now though LOL...oh, and John Schneider (Bo) and...I think the list was endless...I dreamed of kissing them and marrying them...LOL

    The Monkees were on my crush list, too. Though I still listen to their music, I look at them now and think: I must have been out of my mind!

    I loved the Monkees too! My sister and I both planned to marry them (her: Davy, Me: Mickey)

    We recently got the first season on DVD and our kids thought it was awesome. My kids are now talking about their favorites.

    I think the Monkees contributed to my love of 70's era cheese !
